Male and female maganser's don't generally hang around together. This male was tailing the female because it was springtime in the Adirondacks! I'm not sure that she's terrible impressed.

For quite a few years, my wife Kathy and I have been paddling, hiking, camping, snowshoeing, and back-country skiing the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York. We never tire of the spectacular scenery and wildlife that we are so fortunate to see. Wherever we go, my camera is in my boat, backpack, or shoulder. While I spent most of my adult life living in the suburbs of New York City, I started coming up to the Adirondacks in the late 1960's. I bought my first vacation house up here in 1982. Since June of 2010 that same vacation house has become our main residence. I’ve been taking outdoor photographs since the early 1970’s. Only recently have I decided to sell my photos.
